The objectives of this project were to: (1) design and conduct a survey of states and consortia to assess activities to promote the participation of people living with AIDS in Ryan White CARE Act Title II programs; (2) advise NASTAD staff in the design of a mail survey; (3) design an Excel database to be used to store completed surveys; (4) enter and clean survey responses; (5) use SPSS to analyze the results of the survey and create tabular results; (6) use MS Graph Chart software to create graphic presentation of survey responses; (7) conduct supplemental telephone interviews to gather additional qualitative data; and (8) prepare a written report that summaries the results of the survey and interviews.
